Leather Care in Bengaluru
Leather care, done correctly. In Bengaluru.
We clean, condition, and restore leather bags, shoes, and jackets at our studio in Bengaluru, and collect from anywhere in India.
What we do
Not a laundry. Not an assembly line.
KŌSA is a specialist leather care studio based in Bengaluru. We work on one item at a time, handled by a single practitioner from intake to return.
Our work in Bengaluru covers:
- Leather bag cleaning & conditioning: deep cleaning, moisture restoration, surface protection for handbags, clutches, and totes
- Luxury handbag restoration: colour correction, handle refurbishment, hardware polishing, lining care
- Leather shoe cleaning & polishing: sole edge cleaning, crease care, welt maintenance, full reconditioning
- Leather jacket care: panel cleaning, softening, seam conditioning, lining refresh
- Preventive care: treatment before damage appears, not after it is too late
We work with pieces from Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Prada, Dior, Goyard, Coach, Burberry, and most European and Indian leather houses. If you are unsure whether your item is a fit, ask. We will tell you.
Why Bengaluru needs this differently
Bengaluru's combination of humidity and air conditioning creates a particular problem for leather. Mould, surface bloom, and premature drying are common, and often invisible until they are advanced.
The standard response in the city is to hand a piece off to a cobbler, a general dry cleaner, or a mall kiosk. These are not wrong for everyday wear items. They are wrong for leather that was meant to last decades.
We exist for the second category.
How it works
1. Request
Tell us what you have and what concerns you. You can reach us via this page or WhatsApp.
2. Assessment
We review your item and let you know if it is a fit for our care. Not everything is accepted, and we will tell you why if it is not.
3. Care
One practitioner. One item at a time. No batching, no shortcuts.
4. Return
Your item comes back with notes on what was done and how to continue caring for it at home.
Studio visits are available in Bengaluru by appointment. Pan-India pickup is available for orders from Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, and beyond.
Transparent pricing
We show our starting prices, because opacity in care pricing is a sign of something worth being opaque about.
| Service | Starting from |

| Leather bag cleaning & conditioning | ₹999 |
| Luxury handbag restoration | ₹2,499 |
| Leather shoe cleaning & reconditioning | ₹699 |

All prices subject to item assessment. Complex pieces quoted individually.
What we do not do
KŌSA is not:
- A same-day or same-week service (precision takes time)
- A marketplace connecting you to other workshops
- A subscription or membership programme
- An operation that accepts every item submitted
If speed is the priority, there are many options in Bengaluru. We are not one of them.
Frequently asked questions
How long does care take?
Turnaround depends on the item. Simple cleaning and conditioning is typically 5 to 7 days. Restoration work can be 10 to 15 days. We give a timeline at assessment, and we honour it.
Do you offer pickup and delivery in Bengaluru?
Yes. We coordinate pickup and drop-off across Bengaluru. Pan-India pickup is also available.
Can you work on damaged leather?
It depends on the nature and extent of the damage. We assess each piece honestly. If restoration is not possible to our standard, we will tell you rather than return a poorly done result.
Do you work on non-leather materials?
Our primary expertise is leather: smooth, suede, nubuck, exotic. Canvas pieces with leather trim (common in LV, Goyard) are accepted. Fully synthetic pieces are not.
How should I store my leather piece between care sessions?
Away from direct sunlight, in a breathable dust bag, at stable humidity. Not in a plastic bag, not in a humid cupboard, not pressed against other items. We include specific guidance with every returned piece.
A studio that does one thing well
There is a Japanese word, shokunin, for the quiet dignity of doing one thing properly over a long period of time.
There is also an Indian concept, svabhav, for the natural character of a thing, and the responsibility to preserve it.
KŌSA was built at that intersection. Bengaluru is where we work. The rest of India, we reach by pickup.
